the kindle is so outdated now, i mean honestly, buttons, no touch, and seriously what were they thinking putting a non color screen to market in this day and age? also not to mention the fact that they are way too overprices, either amazon updates them to compete with the iPad, or give up

@AzzoliniBrandon dude i would rather have the kindle than the i pad they suck for reading. why you may ask well its a oled screen witch hurts your eyes, its not light weight, it reflects in the sun, its eink so its easy to read and it looks like actual paper, the battery last 10 days not 8 hours. But it does need a new look and maybe touchscreen if it doesn’t suck like sony. and not that many people use the ipad to read so yeah the kindle already beats the ipad for a ereader.
@jim1621 well, turn down the brightness, but about the glare, they have a protector that eliminated the glare, and on the ipad the book feel is just so much nicer, that actually looks like paper, not the kindle, the kindle looks like a pc from the 80s, and its pretty hard to make a good touchscreen when its eink
@BrandKnew951 turning down the brightness still doesnt help and by it looks like paper i was talking about the kindle screen not the kindle, and yes the kindle is not nice lookin, and yes the ipad has the cool book effects but its still its not a good reading experience its good if your going to read only 15-20 min but for long readers its better the kindle. many people who read will agree with me you just cant beat eink for reading on a device and it can be in color plus im getting copiaocean9
